Precise and highly effective capillary thermostating provided by circulating liquid coolant (water)(± 0.1 C)

  • Extended range of applied buffers and increased efficiency in separation

Powerful software package "Elforun"

  • Increased flexibility in performing analyses of various complexity
  • Any kind of complex runs are possible including those with pre-programming of changes in analysis conditions
  • Customized report, data export to other programs

Unique design of the capillary cassettes

  • Easy capillary change in just a few minutes
  • Lower Detection Limit due to the optimized optical scheme

Principle of Operation

High performance capillary electrophoresis is based on the differential migration of components of aqueous samples within a narrow fused silica capillary driven by an electric field. Separated solutes are quantitatively detected at the capillary outlet by a high sensitive optical system based on direct or indirect UV absorbance.

CE webinar: Fast, Accurate, and Reliable Chemical Analysis of Water

IN THIS WEBINAR YOU WILL LEARN:

- What analytical tasks are performed in the modern water treatment industry

- Why it is so important to perform chemical analysis of all kinds of water samples

- Compliance with ASTM, ISO, and US EPA standards

- Which components can be precisely controlled with Lumex-developed protocols and how these protocols can be performed on our capillary electrophoresis systems

CE Webinar: How to get insight into wines and spirits

Lumex Instruments has developed several analytical protocols to provide typical analyses of wine, wine materials, and spirits at all stages of manufacture. These protocols can be realized on Lumex Capel capillary electrophoresis systems. We propose to determine the following important compounds:

- Organic acids

- Inorganic anions and some organic acids

- Inorganic cations, biogenic amines, and some amino acids

- Aromatic aldehydes in brandy and cognacs

- Sugars

These protocols are proposed in the form of Standard Operation Protocols, which means that every step is clearly stated in the text in detail and the entire procedure can be internally or externally validated, as has been done in many European countries. In the webinar, we are discussing the actual analytical tasks in the beverage industry and describe in detail the proposed analytical methods.

Analysis of the purity and heterogeneity of recombinant proteins by capillary electrophoresis

In this webinar, you will learn:

- What analytical tasks exist in the modern biopharmaceutical industry.

- What impurities and/or degradation products can be found in the final batch of recombinant protein.

- How capillary isoelectric focusing can help to characterize different isoforms of recombinant proteins.

- How the requirements of the new US Pharmacopeia article N129 can be fulfilled using the Lumex CE Capel system.
